Peter Stoner in "Science Speaks" (Moody Press, 1963) takes just  eight of the Old Testament prophecies concerning Christ - not all of  them, just eight - and shows that coincidence is ruled out by the  science of probability. He says, "We find that the chance that any man  might have lived down to the present time and fulfilled all eight  prophecies is 1 in 10(17th)." That would be one in  100,000,000,000,000,000. And then to help us understand this  staggering figure, he illustrates it by supposing that "we take 10(17th)  silver dollars and lay them on the face of Texas (approximate area : 263,000 square miles). They will cover all of the state two feet deep.  Now mark one of these silver dollars and stir the whole mass  thoroughly, all over the state. Blindfold a man and tell him that he can  travel as far as he wishes," anywhere in the state. But he must pick up  the silver dollar that was marked. What chance would he have of  getting the right one? "Just the same chance that the prophets would  have had of writing these eight prophecies and having them all come  true in any one man, from their day to the present time, providing they  wrote them in their own wisdom."

By the way... I have listed up above JUST 100 prophecies of Christ. How can 100 prophecies, fulfilled in a single person, be a deliberate deception or even a mere coincidence? The probability of one man fulfilling all of these prophecies by chance is 10 to the power of 157! I can't even imagine the amount of zeros you would have at the end of a number that large. Nor can I imagine how many coins deep that would be to cover Texas, or the entire planet for that matter.

One more thing.. the following was a blessing the first I heard it shared in our church service. I pray you are blessed as well.

He is the First and Last, the Beginning and the End!

The Pharisees couldn't confuse Him,
And the people couldn't hold Him!
Nero couldn't crush Him,
Hitler couldn't silence Him,
The New Age can't replace Him,
And Donahue can't explain Him away!

Jesus is the Greatest Treasure
The pearl of Great Price
They that seek Him will find Him
He is the giver of all wisdom and the Author of all that is good!

He is the Rock of my Salvation
My Fortress in times of trouble
My Shield, My Defender, My Shelter
He is the One that I run to

Jesus will never leave me, Never forsake me
The best friend one could ever have!
He is the friend who is always there
When all other friends have come and gone

There is no one like Jesus
No one will ever replace Him
Forever He will reign as King of Kings
and Lord of Lords!!

He is Light, Love and Longevity.
He is Good, Kind and Gentle.
He is Holy, Righteous, Mighty, Powerful, and Pure.
His ways are right, His Word is eternal,
His will is unchanging, and His mind is in me.

Jesus is my Redeemer, He is my Saviour,
He is my guide, and He is my Peace!
He is my Joy, He is my comfort,
He is my Master, and He rules my life!

I serve Him because His banner is Love,
His burden is light, and His goal for me is abundant life.
I follow Him because He is the Wisdom of the wise,
The Power of the powerful,

The Ruler of rulers, the Leader of leaders,
The Overseer of the overcomers,

Of all that was and is and is to come.

And if that seems impressive to you, think about this...

His goal is a relationship with me!
He will never leave me, never forsake me,
Never mislead me, never forget me,
Never overlook me, and never cancel my appointment
In His appointment book!

I was a sinner, He died for me
I was in bondage, He set me free
I was on my way to hell, Jesus redeemed me
Jesus, my Risen Saviour and Lord- Oh how He loves me

When I fall, He lifts me up!
When I fail, He forgives!
When I am weak, He is strong!
When I am lost, He is the way!
When I am afraid, He is my courage!
When I stumble, He steadies me!
When I am hurt, He heals me!
When I am broken, He mends me!

When I am blind, He leads me!
When I am hungry, He feeds me!
When I face trials, He is with me!
When I face persecution, He shields me!
When I face problems, He comforts me!
When I face loss, He provides for me!

Jesus is everything for everybody,
everywhere, every time and every way.

He is the Only Way to Heaven
The Mediator between God and man
He is the Truth and He is the Life!

 He is Faithful. I am His, and He is mine!
So, if you're wondering why I feel so secure, understand this...
He said it and that settles it.
God is in control, I am on His side,
And that means all is well with my soul.
Everyday is a blessing... for HE IS!

I love Him and thank Him for all that He's done in my life.
Jesus is my source of existence and my Saviour.
He keeps me functioning each and everyday.
Without Him, I am nothing. But with Him, I can do all things.
